First of all, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Leisha Long. I am currently going to college for a degree in sociology and a minor in photography. I have always been a "country" girl, and I have recently been seeking a way to live a more simple life. Then I stumbled upon some blogs from some people who are actually doing what I want to do. They are less reliant on the world, and more reliant on God and the earth. These Agrarians are who I look up to.
How in the world do I start changing my lifestyle to live in this simple way? I'm not sure what to do... I live in a rural Utah town, and my dad built our log home himself on a three-acre plot. We planted some fruit trees last year and the only thing that has produced has been some pear trees. (9 pears this year!) :) Is anything doable on three acres?
